Harmony Hall

Built 1881 - 1883 with the renowned Nicholas Clayton as architect. Harmony Hall was meant to provide a social forum for Galveston's Jewish community, but financial difficulties resulted in the sale of the building. It housed the Galveston Business University, and after suffering damage from the 1900 Storm, it was repaired and used as the Scottish Rite Temple until it was destroyed by a fire in 1928.
